BESPOKE MANUFACTURERS OF THE YEAR

Scanliving

Established in 1989, Scanliving delivers durable, sustainable and modern children’s beds. Situated in Denmark and manufacturing across Northern Europe, the company is well-known for its quality, and the team have always believed that a child’s fantasy can flourish given the right environment. As a result, Scanliving is committed to providing simple, clever beds that give children the opportunity learn and develop through good sleep and play.

Their best-selling Mojo beds are based on a modular system that enables them to change with children – starting as a single bed or mid sleeper, the bed later turns into a high sleeper with a desk, perfect for school-age children.

The judges praised the sustainability of Scanliving, with beds that can be rebuilt or taken apart and passed onto the next generation. Designed in Denmark and produced out of Swedish spruce wood, the beds are long-lasting, highly durable and meet all European safety standards. Each tree that is used to build a market-leading Mojo bed is replaced by a new tree, and a skilled team crafts the wood into high-quality products using only water-based lacquers, with further options for untreated wood.

Scanliving is constantly developing to meet requirements and wishes from their customers. This reflects a decades-long tradition at Scanliving of creating changeable, transformative and sustainable beds.
